5 application scenarios of self drilling hollow anchor bolt

2020-08-15

In recent years, with the increase of demand for geotechnical anchorage engineering in China, drilling equipment has been also continuously developed. While the self drilling anchor bolt is more and more widely used due to the labor and lease cost. Self drilling hollow anchor bolt has excellent anchoring effect under the geological conditions of easy hole collapse. Self drilling hollow anchor bolt is mainly used in the following application scenarios:

Pre-stressed anchor: It is used as prestressed anchor instead of strand anchor in scenarios of slope, underground excavation, anti-floating, etc. When the self drilling hollow anchor bolt is drilled to the design depth, then grouting, and tension is applied after solidification.

Micropile: Self drilling hollow anchor bolt can be drilled and grouted to form micropile. It often used for wind power station foundation, transmission tower foundation, building foundation, retaining wall pile foundation, bridge pile foundation, etc.

Soil nailing: Self drilling anchor bolt is often used for slope support to replace the ordinary reinforced bolt, and also used for deep foundation support.

Rock bolt: In some rock slopes and tunnels with weathered surface or joint development, self drilling hollow anchor bolt can be used for anchorage. It integrates drilling, grouting and anchoring, which can perform fast anchoring and improve rock stability. It is suitable for the reinforcement of easily collapsed highway, rock slope of railway, and also can replace the pipe shed in the loose tunnel entrance.

Strengthening infrastructure and construction repairment: As the time of the original support system increases, some problems may appear in the supporting structures, which need to be treated. For example, the deformation of the original slope, the settlement of the original foundation, the roadway surface raised, etc. Self drilling hollow anchor bolt can be used to drill into the original slope, foundation or roadway ground to grout and consolidate the cracks to prevent the occurrence of geological disasters.
